The Port of Virginia is closely monitoring the movement of Hurricane Arthur and is taking precautionary steps to prepare the terminals for any eventuality, in accordance with standard operating procedures. As of 2:00 p.m. today, July 3, the port does not anticipate any changes to its operating hours:
· Friday, July 4, the port is CLOSED in recognition of Independence Day
· Saturday, July 5, truck gate hours at NIT and APM Terminals Virginia are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
· Port terminals, including PMT, NNMT, Port of Richmond and the Virginia Inland Port, will reopen on Monday, July 7
